The 40 Minutes with 40 platform was started to give men and women inside prison a voice to be heard, understood, and valued. There is a misconception that people in prison are stagnant and without hope, when there's nothing farther from the truth. The truth is that countless men and women are doing the work every day and are committed to living productive lives when released.

Our team decided to provide live and in-depth interviews that offered a safe and secure place for people to tell their stories in an open and honest way. Please listen as 40 Strong founder Free asks the questions that are often overlooked and many times not thought of.

Each interview will take you on a journey inside the world of prison, with all of its layers, qualms, issues, and uncertainties. The stories are sometimes painful, deliberately raw, and always full of insight.

40 Minutes with 40 is unlike anything else by any standard and will surely change your perspective on prison and those who are there.
